I’ve been obsessing over this iconic venue for so long and finally getting the chance to shoot at Hedsor House was everything I’d hoped for and more. Creative days are the perfect opportunity to be creative and expand on ideas and visions for future weddings and to create immersive work that helps me to keep evolving as an editorial and documentary wedding photographer. Investing in myself and my art is so important to me, it allows me to bring something fresh and exciting to every wedding I shoot. By constantly exploring new techniques, shooting at iconic locations and challenging myself creatively, I’m able to create galleries that have a unique style, hold incredible memories and showcase you! For me It’s all about staying ahead of the game and giving couples something truly special.

The day started with this gorgeous, misty morning it felt like stepping straight into a romantic movie set. The kind of weather that makes everything feel a little more dramatic, a little more magical. The mist gave me the perfect chance to create some deep, moody, editorial style shots, letting the natural light and soft movement tell the story. The house itself, with its iconic feels, just stood there like a total star, setting the tone for every frame.

After meeting all the suppliers the mist had lifted to give way to glorious sunshine. This is what I love about weddings, those moments when the elements align and I get to play with different styles, blending natural light, a touch of flash, and those in-between documentary shots. Shooting at a venue like Hedsor House, nestled just outside of London, feels like having the best of both worlds timeless and modern all in one.

Throughout the day, I leaned into everything that makes my approach unique: capturing fleeting, authentic moments with a touch of editorial flair. Whether it was using flash,  highlighting motion or slowing things down with analogue film for those nostalgic vibes. There’s something about blending digital and film formats that gives a gallery its own heartbeat.

Hedsor House is one of the best venues to get creative at. It’s got that perfect mix of grandeur and charm, giving couples the ultimate backdrop for a standout wedding. The inside space feels very special, its flooded with natural light from the incredible glass dome ceiling.

Let me take a moment to talk about Susanna Greening's gorgeous wedding dresses each piece bespoke for this day. Absolute showstoppers. Think flowing intricate detailing and all the elegance you could ever want. They gave the day a totally fashion-forward edge, inspiring me to create standout, stylish and detailed images that really pick up on the small details.

As the winter evening rolled in, the day transitioned into something even more magical. Under a colorful sky streaked with twilight hues, I brought out the flash for some of my fave outdoor shots. The stand out design? An incredible rose and fabric aisle that felt like walking into a dream. Capturing the details of this  setup in the moody evening light added another layer of artistry to the gallery!

Proof that every moment, no matter the time of day, can be unforgettable with the right approach.
