From the USA to the rolling gardens of the English countryside, Amanda & Will’s destination wedding at the iconic Ashridge House was the perfect fusion of old world romance and modern elegance. Natural, elegant, stylish and full of heart, the kind of wedding that makes Ashridge House feel like it was built for perfect love stories like theirs.

Their outdoor ceremony felt utterly cinematic, framed by the grand architecture of Ashridge House and its sweeping lawns dotted with ancient oak trees. Birds sang softly in the background, adding to the magic of the moment. The ceremony was intimate and relaxed, filled with tearful moments and stolen glances. Amanda carried a bouquet of white, peach, and soft green florals fragrant with sweet peas and graced by the elegant structure of dahlias.

The reception was set with straight long and candlelit tables that felt both grand and intimate, elegant in the most effortless way. Guests dined on incredible, award winning food paired with exquisite wines, the kind of meal that lingers in your memory. As the evening unfolded, the room filled with the warmth of heartfelt speeches, toasting Amanda & Will in true celebratory style.

I enjoyed capturing the day on both film and digital formats, mixing honest documentary moments with a touch of editorial flare. I was assisting the lovely Sophie, who took the lead on bridal prep while I documented the groom and his best men - Followed by wandered through the gardens and reception spaces, capturing the little in-between moments as they unfolded.

The evening was nothing short of wonderful. Amanda & Will cut their cake in the grand hall, such a magical space where I captured this moment from the balcony. Just after, we all stepped outside to watch fireworks light up the sky, a perfect little moment of wow. Then came their first dance, full of joy and just the right amount of romance, before everyone hit the dance floor to party the night away. It was the kind of night you wish could last forever.
